Il Premio

Quando mi hanno comunicato che avrei ricevuto un riconoscimento ufficiale dal Comandante Generale del Corpo della Guardia di Finanza ho provato una emozione indescrivibile, poiché ero consapevole che avevo dato un contributo personale a una parte significativa della storia italiana. Questo riconoscimento mi è stato dato in occasione della chiusura dei report annuali sulla lotta alla contraffazione; credo che la Guardia di Finanza dia un indispensabile contributo alla tutela della qualità dei nostri prodotti nel mondo e la mia riconoscenza a questo corpo è anche per questo molto sentita in quanto stilista che opera a livello internazionale.

The Award

In December 2008 Ettore Bilotta was mentioned for the Award of the Guardia di Finanza Corps – He is awarded as "Magister of Artis" by Guardia di Finanza Corps for his "determinant contribution of style and elegance in renewing the image of the Corps and furtherly increase its prestige".

When I was told that the Chief of the General Staff would grant me an official Award , I felt an inexpressible emotion, because I became aware I had given a personal contribution to a significant part of Italian history. I was given this Award on the occasion of the conclusion of the yearly reports of the anti-counterfeiting campaign; I think the Guardia di Finanza gives an indispensable protection to the quality of our products all over the world and I feel deeply grateful to them as a designer on the international level.
